ACCOMMODATION

Guestrooms at The Ivy Hotel are light and airy, with interesting detail. Unlike a modern hotel, all rooms are not alike. Each has its own character. Ruffled, sheer curtains at the windows contribute to year-round exposure to natural light. Antique mahogany furniture with a mix of lush cushioned suede and leather headboards, gives you a flavour of our mix of classical and contemporary features.

Even the smallest of rooms has a warm, welcoming and open feel. All rooms have generous closet space. Bathrooms have been updated and attention to detail includes bathrobes and candles in the rooms. On request we are happy to provide a shoe shine and laundry service.

Taking its cue from Wiltshire's countryside influence, on the edge of the Marlborough Downs,The Ivy Hotel feels like a home away from home.

All rooms throughout the hotel have been refurbished. The Main House is the original Victorian brick structure and therefore the rooms are traditional in size and decor. The Willow House, with two large Willow trees outside, is affectionately referred to as the "new wing." This consists of twenty bedrooms and is connected to the Main House by our much liked conservatory.

The rooms in Willow House are more contemporary in decor and lends towards a more executive style.

Our housekeeping team use Kirbys to clean the rooms throughout. This is a testament to our intent, to provide a comprehensive service to our guests, just being clean to the eye is not enough for us. We are therefore hypo-allergenic and asthmatic friendly.
